Customs, Duties & Tariffs
As of August 29th, 2025, the de minimis exemption ended in the United States. Splendid Land packages shipped into the United States are shipped on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis, so consumers will be the importer on record. Items imported into the United States will be subject to customs, duties, tariffs, and additional brokerage fees from the carrier.
At checkout, consumers must accept and acknowledge responsibility for all additional customs, duties, import fees, and tariffs before proceeding with the transaction. Any additional customs, duties, import fees, or tariffs are determined by your local government upon entry into the United States. These charges vary depending on the country of manufacture, product classification, product material, and any additional brokerage or local fees. We're unable to provide the exact amount of these charges, so we recommend contacting your local customs office for more information. Consumers will need to pay these charges directly to the courier or assigned broker agent to release an order from customs.
